Setting Operation

< Vehicle-to-vehicle distance control mode >

While the ON-OFF SW is ON (The power indicator light is turned on), bring the vehicle to the desired speed, press the control lever downward in the "- SET" direction and release it. This sets the vehicle at that speed, as long as the speed is between the lower settable speed limit of about 45 km/h (28 mph) and the upper settable speed limit of about 135 km/h (85 mph). If the vehicle speed is faster than 135 km/h (85 mph) however, the speed will be set to the upper speed limit.

While the ON-OFF SW is ON (The power indicator light is turned on), bring the vehicle to the desired speed, press the control lever downward in the "- SET" direction and release it. This sets the vehicle to that speed. It is only possible to set the speed to a value between the lower and the higher speed limits.
