Inspection Procedure

  1. CHECK HARNESS AND CONNECTOR (TC of DLC3 - ECM) 
    1. Disconnect the A24 connector from the ECM.
    2. Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.

      Standard resistance 

      RESISTANCE REFERENCE

      Tester Connection Condition Specified Condition
      TC (A55-27) - TC (D20-13) Always Below 1 Ω

    NG: REPAIR OR REPLACE HARNESS OR CONNECTOR (DLC3 - ECM)

    OK: Go to next step 

  2. CHECK HARNESS AND CONNECTOR (CG of DLC3 - BODY GROUND) 
    1. Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.

      Standard resistance 

      RESISTANCE REFERENCE

      Tester Connection Condition Specified Condition
      CG (D20-4) - Body ground Always Below 1 Ω

    NG: REPAIR OR REPLACE HARNESS OR CONNECTOR (DLC3 - BODY GROUND)

    OK: Go to next step 

  3. CHECK HARNESS AND CONNECTOR (TC of DLC3 - BODY GROUND) 
    1. Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.

      Standard resistance 

      RESISTANCE REFERENCE

      Tester Condition Condition Specified Condition
      TC (D20-13) - Body ground Always 10 kΩ or higher

    NG: REPAIR OR REPLACE WIRE HARNESS OR EACH ECU

    OK : REPLACE ECM
