On-Vehicle Inspection

  1. CHECK ACCELERATOR PEDAL ROD 
    1. Put the engine in inspection mode (See INSPECTION MODE PROCEDURE ).
    2. Warm up the engine.
    3. Turn the power switch off.
    4. Connect Techstream to the DLC3.
    5. Turn the power switch ON (IG).
    6. Turn the tester on.
    7. Enter the following menus: Powertrain / Engine and ECT / Data List.
    8. Check the values by referring to the table below.

    Tester Display Measurement: Range (Display) Normal Condition *1 Diagnostic Note
    Accelerator Position No. 1 Accelerator pedal position sensor No. 1/ Min.: 0%, Max.: 100% Accelerator pedal depressed: Changes with accelerator pedal pressure -
    Accelerator Position No. 2 Accelerator pedal position sensor No. 2/ Min.: 0%, Max.: 100% Accelerator pedal depressed: Changes with accelerator pedal pressure -
