Cylinder Block: Replacement

REPLACE RING PIN
NOTE: It is not necessary to remove the ring pins unless they are being replaced.
1. Remove the ring pins.
2. Using a plastic hammer, tap in the ring pins.
  Standard protrusion:
  
  7.5 to 8.5 mm (0.295 to 0.335 in.)
REPLACE STUD BOLT
NOTE: If any of the stud bolts is deformed or the threads are damaged, replace it.
1. Remove the stud bolts.

2. Using a "TORX" socket E6, install the stud bolts as shown in the illustration.
  Torque: 5.0 N*m (51 kgf*cm, 44 in.*lbf)

REPLACE STRAIGHT PIN

NOTE: It is not necessary to remove the straight pins unless they are being replaced.

Remove the straight pins.

Using a plastic hammer, tap in the straight pins.
