Heating / Air Conditioning: Condenser: Removal
- REMOVE FRONT BUMPER ASSEMBLY (w/o Front Spoiler) (See REMOVAL )
- REMOVE FRONT BUMPER ASSEMBLY (w/ Front Spoiler) (See REMOVAL )
- REMOVE HOOD LOCK ASSEMBLY (See REMOVAL )
- REMOVE UPPER RADIATOR SUPPORT (for 2AZ-FE) (See REMOVAL )
- REMOVE UPPER RADIATOR SUPPORT (for 2ZR-FE) (See REMOVAL )
- DISCONNECT WATER BY-PASS HOSE (for 2AZ-FE)
- Disconnect the water by-pass hose from the 2 clamps.
- DISCONNECT WATER BY-PASS HOSE (for 2ZR-FE)
- Disconnect the water by-pass hose from the 3 clamps.
- REMOVE UPPER RADIATOR SUPPORT SUB-ASSEMBLY (for 2AZ-FE)
- Disconnect the horn connector.
- Remove the 5 bolts and the upper radiator support sub-assembly.
- REMOVE UPPER RADIATOR SUPPORT SUB-ASSEMBLY (for 2ZR-FE)
- Disconnect the horn connector.
- Remove the 5 bolts and the upper radiator support sub-assembly.
- REMOVE NO. 2 FAN SHROUD (for 2AZ-FE) (See REMOVAL )
- REMOVE NO. 2 FAN SHROUD (for 2ZR-FE) (See REMOVAL )
- RECOVER REFRIGERANT FROM REFRIGERATION SYSTEM (See REPLACEMENT )
- DISCONNECT DISCHARGE HOSE SUB-ASSEMBLY
- Remove the bolt and disconnect the discharge hose sub-assembly from the condenser.
- Remove the O-ring from the discharge hose sub-assembly.
NOTE: Seal the openings of the disconnected parts using vinyl tape to prevent entry of moisture and foreign matter. - DISCONNECT LIQUID PIPE SUB-ASSEMBLY
- Remove the bolt and disconnect the liquid pipe sub-assembly from the condenser.
- Remove the O-ring from the liquid pipe sub-assembly.
NOTE: Seal the openings of the disconnected parts using vinyl tape to prevent entry of moisture and foreign matter. - REMOVE CONDENSER ASSEMBLY WITH RECEIVER
- Remove the condenser assembly with receiver as shown in the illustration.
