Inspection Procedure
NOTE:
When replacing the brake actuator assembly, perform zero point calibration (See
CALIBRATION ).
HINT:
When C1401 to C1408 and/or C1413 to C1416 are output with C1337, inspect and repair the trouble areas indicated by C1401 to C1408 and/or C1413 to C1416 first (See DIAGNOSTIC TROUBLE CODE CHART ).
- CHECK TIRES
- Check the size and condition of all 4 wheels (See
INSPECTION
).
HINT:
The DTC is output when tire deformation or a difference in tire size is detected.
OK: The diameter of all 4 tires and air pressure are the same.
NG : REPLACE TIRES SO THAT ALL FOUR TIRES ARE SAME SIZE
OK : Go to Next Step
- Check the size and condition of all 4 wheels (See
INSPECTION
).
- RECONFIRM DTC
- Clear the DTCs (See DTC CHECK / CLEAR ).
- Start the engine.
- Drive the vehicle at a speed of 40 km/h (25 mph) or more for at least 60 seconds.
- Check if the same DTC is output (See DTC CHECK / CLEAR ).
Result
RESULT CHARTResult Proceed to DTC (C1337) is output. A DTC (C1337) is not output. B B : CHECK FOR INTERMITTENT PROBLEMS (SYMPTOM SIMULATION) (See HOW TO PROCEED WITH TROUBLESHOOTING )
A : REPLACE BRAKE ACTUATOR ASSEMBLY (See REMOVAL )
