4WD Control Switch: Removal

  1. REMOVE FRONT DOOR SCUFF PLATE LH 
    1. Remove the front door scuff plate RH

      HINT:

      Use the same procedure for the LH side.

  2. REMOVE COWL SIDE TRIM BOARD LH 
    1. Remove the front cowl side trim board RH

      HINT:

      Use the same procedure for the LH side.

  3. REMOVE INSTRUMENT SIDE PANEL LH 
    1. Remove the instrument side panel RH

      HINT:

      Use the same procedure for the LH side.

  4. REMOVE HOOD LOCK CONTROL LEVER SUB-ASSEMBLY  (See REMOVAL )
  5. REMOVE LOWER INSTRUMENT PANEL FINISH PANEL SUB-ASSEMBLY LH 
    1. Remove the lower instrument panel finish panel sub-assembly RH

      HINT:

      Use the same procedure for the LH side.

  6. REMOVE INSTRUMENT CLUSTER FINISH PANEL ASSEMBLY  (See REMOVAL )
  7. REMOVE 4WD CONTROL SWITCH 
    1. Detach the 3 claws to remove the switch.
