Hazard Warning Switch: Inspection

- INSPECT HAZARD WARNING SIGNAL SWITCH ASSEMBLY
- Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.
Standard resistance
TESTER CONNECTION - SPECIFIED CONDITIONTester Connection Condition Specified Condition 2 - 3 Hazard warning switch ON Below 1Ω 2 - 3 Hazard warning switch OFF 10 kΩ or higher Courtesy of © TOYOTA, LICENSE AGREEMENT TMS1002
If the result is not as specified, replace the switch assembly.
- Connect the battery positive (+) lead from the battery to terminal 4 and battery negative (-) lead to terminal 1, then check that the illumination comes on.
OK : Illumination comes on.
If the result is not as specified, replace the switch assembly.
- Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.
