Throttle Body: Removal: Removal

REMOVE WINDSHIELD WIPER MOTOR ASSEMBLY
HINT:

Refer to REMOVAL
REMOVE FRONT OUTER COWL TOP PANEL SUB-ASSEMBLY . Refer to REMOVAL - Step 18
DRAIN ENGINE COOLANT . Refer to REPLACEMENT - Step 3
REMOVE V-BANK COVER SUB-ASSEMBLY . Refer to REMOVAL - Step 19
REMOVE NO. 2 AIR CLEANER INLET . Refer to REMOVAL - Step 20
REMOVE NO. 1 AIR CLEANER INLET . Refer to REMOVAL - Step 21
REMOVE AIR CLEANER CAP SUB-ASSEMBLY
1. Disconnect the 3 vacuum hoses.

2. Remove the No. 2 ventilation hose and air cleaner hose band.

3. Disconnect the vacuum hose (EVAP) from the air cleaner hose.
4. Disconnect the mass air flow meter connector.

5. Remove the 2 bolts and air cleaner cap sub-assembly.
REMOVE AIR CLEANER CASE SUB-ASSEMBLY . Refer to REMOVAL - Step 24
REMOVE THROTTLE BODY
1. Disconnect the throttle body connector and clamp.

2. Disconnect the 2 water by-pass hoses from the throttle body.

3. Remove the 4 bolts and throttle body.

4. Remove the throttle body gasket from the intake air surge tank.
