Inspection Procedure

- INSPECT FUSES (RADIO NO. 1, ACC)
- Remove the RADIO NO. 1 fuse from the engine room junction block.
- Remove the ACC fuse from the main body ECU.
- Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.
Standard Resistance
RESISTANCE SPECIFICATIONTester Connection Condition Specified Condition RADIO NO. 1 fuse Always Below 1 Ω ACC fuse - Install the fuses.
NG: REPLACE FUSES
OK: Go to next step.
- CHECK HARNESS AND CONNECTOR (RADIO RECEIVER ASSEMBLY - BATTERY AND BODY GROUND)
- Disconnect the R1 radio receiver assembly connector.
- Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.
Standard Resistance
for Except Double Cab with 7 Speakers
RESISTANCE SPECIFICATIONTester Connection Condition Specified Condition R1-7 (GND) - Body ground Always Below 1 Ω for Double Cab with 7 Speakers
RESISTANCE SPECIFICATIONTester Connection Condition Specified Condition R1-20 (GND) - Body ground Always Below 1 Ω - Measure the voltage according to the value(s) in the table below.

for Double Cab with 7 Speakers
VOLTAGE SPECIFICATIONTester Connection Switch Condition Specified Condition R1 - 1 (B) - Body ground Always 11 to 14 V R1-11 (ACC) - Body ground Ignition switch ACC - Reconnect the radio receiver assembly connector.
NG: REPAIR OR REPLACE HARNESS OR CONNECTOR
OK: PROCEED TO NEXT SUSPECTED AREA SHOWN IN PROBLEM SYMPTOMS TABLE (See PROBLEM SYMPTOMS TABLE )
