Installation (To 12/2010): Installation

  1. INSTALL BRAKE ACTUATOR WITH BRACKET 
    1. Install the actuator with bracket with the 3 bolts.

      Torque: 19 N*m (194 kgf*cm, 14 ft.*lbf) 

      NOTE:

      Do not damage the brake tubes and wire harness.

    2. Connect the actuator connector.

    3. Using SST, connect each brake tube to correct positions of the actuator with bracket as shown in the illustration.

      • SST: 09023-00101 

      Torque: 15 N*m (155 kgf*cm, 11 ft.*lbf) 

  2. FILL RESERVOIR WITH BRAKE FLUID  . Refer to BLEEDING - Step 1
  3. BLEED MASTER CYLINDER  . Refer to BLEEDING - Step 2
  4. BLEED BRAKE LINE  . Refer to BLEEDING - Step 3
  5. CHECK BRAKE FLUID LEAKAGE 
  6. CHECK FLUID LEVEL IN RESERVOIR  . Refer to BLEEDING - Step 6
  7. CONNECT CABLE FROM NEGATIVE BATTERY TERMINAL 
    NOTE:

    When disconnecting the cable, some systems need to be initialized after the cable is reconnected. Refer to INITIALIZATION .

  8. PERFORM YAW RATE SENSOR ZERO POINT CALIBRATION 
    1. Perform the yaw rate sensor zero point calibration. Refer to CALIBRATION .
  9. CHECK BRAKE ACTUATOR WITH TECHSTREAM 
    1. Check the brake actuator. Refer to ON-VEHICLE INSPECTION .
