Engine Control System (1GR-FE) (Service Information): ECM: Installation: Installation

INSTALL ECM BRACKET
1. Install the ECM bracket with the 2 screws.

  Torque: 3.0 N*m (32 kgf*cm, 28 in.*lbf)
INSTALL NO. 2 ECM BRACKET
1. Install the No. 2 ECM bracket with the 2 screws.

  Torque: 3.0 N*m (32 kgf*cm, 28 in.*lbf)
INSTALL NO. 2 JUNCTION BLOCK
1. Engage the claw and install the No. 2 junction block.

2. Install the bolt.
  Torque: 8.0 N*m (82 kgf*cm, 71 in.*lbf)
INSTALL ECM
1. Install the ECM with the nut and 2 bolts

  Torque: 5.0 N*m (51 kgf*cm, 44 in.*lbf)
2. Connect the 6 No. 2 junction block connectors, 6 ECM connectors and wire harness clamp.

INSTALL INSTRUMENT PANEL FINISH PANEL SUB-ASSEMBLY LOWER RH . Refer to INSTALLATION - Step 15
INSTALL GLOVE COMPARTMENT DOOR ASSEMBLY . Refer to INSTALLATION - Step 16
PERFORM INITIALIZATION
1. Perform Reset Memory (AT initialization) when replacing the ECM. Refer to INITIALIZATION for A750E Automatic Transaxle. Refer to INITIALIZATION for A750F Automatic Transaxle).
2. Perform Registration (VIN registration) when replacing the ECM. Refer to REGISTRATION .
3. Perform Registration (ECU communication ID registration) when replacing the ECM. Refer to REGISTRATION .
