INSPECT ENGINE COOLANT TEMPERATURE SENSOR

Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.

Standard Resistance

Tester Connection	Condition	Specified Condition
1 - 2	20°C (68°F)	2.32 to 2.59 kΩ
1 - 2	80°C (176°F)	0.310 to 0.326 kΩ

NOTE:

In case of checking the engine coolant temperature sensor in water, do not allow water to contact the terminals. After checking, dry the engine coolant temperature sensor.

If the result is not as specified, replace the engine coolant temperature sensor.
