Pre-Collision Off Switch: Inspection: Procedure

HINT: 

• The Pre-collision OFF switch is integrated with the cluster switch.
• If the Pre-collision OFF switch is replaced, replace the cluster switch.

  Refer to REMOVAL

1. Remove the cluster switch.

   Refer to REMOVAL

2. Measure the resistance between cluster switches 6 and 2 under the following conditions:

   Resistance with Pre-collision OFF switch pressed and held (standard)

   501.44 to 511.56 ohms

   Resistance with any switches not pressed (standard)

   1, 139.99 to 1, 163.01 ohms

   *c	Pre-Collision OFF Switch	-	-

   • If not within the specification, replace the cluster switch.

     Refer to REMOVAL

1. Remove the cluster switch.

   Refer to REMOVAL

2. Apply battery positive voltage to cluster switch terminal 10, and connect terminal 5 to ground.

3. Verify that the LED illuminates.
   • If there is any malfunction, replace the cluster switch.
