Engine Switch: Removal: Procedure

  1. REMOVE ENGINE SWITCH 
    1. Disconnect the negative battery cable.

      Refer to REMOVAL

    2. Remove the upper column cover.

      Refer to REMOVAL

    3. Remove the meter hood.

      Refer to REMOVAL

    4. While pressing the engine switch tabs in the direction of the arrows (1) shown in the figure, and push out the engine switch in the direction of the arrow (2) shown in the figure to detach the engine switch tabs from the meter hood.

    5. Remove the engine switch.
