Fuel Injector: Inspection: Procedure

  1. INSPECT FUEL INJECTOR 
    1. Resistance Inspection
      1. Disconnect the negative battery cable.

        Refer to REMOVAL

      2. Remove the plug hole plate.

        Refer to REMOVAL

      3. Remove the intake manifold.

        Refer to REMOVAL

      4. Disconnect the fuel injector connector.
      5. Inspect the resistance between fuel injector terminals 1 and 2.

        Fuel injector resistance

        1.74 to 2.04 ohms (20 °C (68 °F))

        If not within the specification, replace the fuel injector.

        Refer to REMOVAL
