Fuel Pump: Inspection: Procedure

  1. INSPECT FUEL PUMP 
    1. Continuity Inspection
      1. Disconnect the negative battery cable.

        Refer to REMOVAL

      2. Remove the rear seat cushion.

        Refer to REMOVAL

      3. Remove the service hole cover.

        Refer to REMOVAL 

      4. Disconnect the fuel pump unit connector.
      5. Inspect for continuity between fuel pump unit terminals 1-2.

        If there is no continuity, replace the fuel pump unit.
