Removal [11/2015 - ]: Procedure

  1. REMOVE NO. 1 ENGINE COVER SUB-ASSEMBLY 

    Refer to PROCEDURE - Step 13 [11/2015 - 08/2016] , or refer to PROCEDURE - Step 13 [08/2016 - 12/2018] , or refer to PROCEDURE - Step 13 [12/2018 - 07/2020] , or refer to PROCEDURE - Step 13 [07/2020 - ]

  2. REMOVE FRONT WIPER ARM HEAD CAP 

    Refer to PROCEDURE - Step 1

  3. REMOVE FRONT WIPER ARM AND BLADE ASSEMBLY LH 

    Refer to PROCEDURE - Step 2

  4. REMOVE FRONT WIPER ARM AND BLADE ASSEMBLY RH 

    Refer to PROCEDURE - Step 3

  5. REMOVE COWL WATER EXTRACT SHIELD LH 

    Refer to PROCEDURE - Step 4

  6. REMOVE COWL WATER EXTRACT SHIELD RH 

    Refer to PROCEDURE - Step 5

  7. REMOVE COWL TOP VENTILATOR LOUVER SUB-ASSEMBLY 

    Refer to PROCEDURE - Step 6

  8. REMOVE IGNITION COIL ASSEMBLY 
    1. Disconnect the 4 ignition coil assembly connectors.

    2. Remove the 4 bolts and 4 ignition coil assemblies from the cylinder head cover sub-assembly.

      NOTE:

      If an ignition coil assembly has been struck or dropped, replace it.

      HINT: 

      Arrange the removed parts in the correct order.

  9. REMOVE SPARK PLUG

      Remove the 4 spark plugs from the cylinder head sub-assembly.

      NOTE:

      If a spark plug has been struck or dropped, replace it.

      HINT: 

      Arrange the removed parts in the correct order.
