Installation [12/2022 - ]: Procedure

  1. INSTALL NO. 2 ECM BRACKET 

    Torque: 4.5 N.m (46 kgf/cm, 40 in.lbf) 

  2. INSTALL NO. 1 ECM BRACKET 

    Torque: 4.5 N.m (46 kgf/cm, 40 in.lbf) 

  3. INSTALL ECM

      1. Install the ECM with the bolt and 2 nuts.

        Torque: 8.0 N.m (82 kgf/cm, 71 in.lbf) 

        NOTE:

        If the ECM has been struck or dropped, replace it.

      2. Engage the clamp and install the engine wire.
      3. Connect the 3 ECM connectors and rotate the 3 levers to lock them.
        NOTE:
        • When connecting the ECM connectors, make sure that the connecting parts of the ECM connectors are free of dirt, water and other foreign matter.
        • Be sure to securely connect the ECM connectors.
  4. CONNECT CABLE TO NEGATIVE AUXILIARY BATTERY TERMINAL

  5. PERFORM VEHICLE IDENTIFICATION NUMBER (VIN) REGISTRATION

  6. ECU CONFIGURATION 

    Refer to ECU CONFIGURATION [12/2022 - ]

  7. UPDATE ECU SECURITY KEY 

    Refer to UPDATE ECU SECURITY KEY [12/2022 - ]

  8. PERFORM INITIALIZATION 

    Refer to WORK PROCEDURE [12/2022 - 10/2023] , or refer to WORK PROCEDURE [10/2023 - 04/2024] , or refer to WORK PROCEDURE [04/2024 - ]

  9. INITIALIZATION AFTER RECONNECTING AUXILIARY BATTERY TERMINAL 

    HINT: 

    When disconnecting and reconnecting the auxiliary battery, there is an automatic learning function that completes learning when the respective system is used.
