Inspection [02/2024 - ]: Procedure

  1. INSPECT VACUUM SWITCHING VALVE 
    1. Measure the resistance.

      Standard Resistance

      Tester Connection Condition Specified Condition
      C130-1 (+B) - C130-2 (ACM) 20°C (68°F) 37 to 44 Ω

      *a Component without harness connected
      (Vacuum Switching Valve)
    2. Check the operation of the vacuum switching valve assembly.

      *a Port F
      1. Apply negative pressure of 67 kPa (500 mmHg, 19.7 in.Hg) absolute pressure to "F"and check that the vacuum is maintained.
      2. Check air flows from "E" to the air filter.

      3. Apply battery voltage across the terminals.

      4. Check air flows from "E" to "F".
    3. If the result is not as specified, replace the vacuum switching valve.
