On-Vehicle Inspection [11/2021 - ]: Procedure
- INSPECT MASS AIR FLOW METER
- Remove the mass air flow meter.
Refer to REMOVAL [11/2021 - ]
HINT:
Do not disconnect the mass air flow meter connector.
- Turn the ignition switch to ON. (do not start the engine)
- Read the value displayed on the GTS.
Powertrain > Engine Control System > Data List
Tester Display Mass Air Flow - Check that the Mass Air Flow changes when air is blown to the mass air flow meter unit in the arrow direction.
Air NOTE:Be careful that no dust enter inside the unit when air is blown.
- Install the mass air flow meter.

- Remove the mass air flow meter.
