Installation [12/2023 - ]: Procedure

  1. INSTALL ENGINE STOP AND START ECU

      1. Install the engine stop and start ECU with the bolt and nut.

        Torque: 10 N.m (102 kgf/cm, 7 ft.lbf) 

        NOTE:

        If the engine stop and start ECU has been struck or dropped, replace it.

      2. Connect the engine stop and start ECU connector.
        NOTE:

        Be sure to securely connect the engine stop and start ECU connector.

  2. INSTALL LOWER NO. 2 INSTRUMENT PANEL AIRBAG ASSEMBLY 

    Refer to INSTALLATION [12/2023 - 03/2024] , or refer to INSTALLATION [03/2024 - ]

  3. CONNECT CABLE TO NEGATIVE AUXILIARY BATTERY TERMINAL 

    Refer to PROCEDURE - Step 5

  4. UPDATE ECU SECURITY KEY 

    Refer to UPDATE ECU SECURITY KEY [12/2023 - ]

  5. PERFORM INITIALIZATION 

    Refer to WORK PROCEDURE [12/2023 - 03/2024] , or refer to WORK PROCEDURE [03/2024 - ]

  6. INITIALIZATION AFTER RECONNECTING AUXILIARY BATTERY TERMINAL 

    Refer to WORK PROCEDURE [12/2023 - 03/2024] , or refer to WORK PROCEDURE [03/2024 - ]

    HINT: 

    When disconnecting and reconnecting the auxiliary battery, there is an automatic learning function that completes learning when the respective system is used.
