Removal [05/2022 - ]: Procedure

  1. REMOVE FRONT WHEEL 

    Refer to REMOVAL [11/2021 - ]

  2. REMOVE FRONT FENDER APRON TRIM PACKING D 

    for Gasoline Model: Refer to PROCEDURE - Step 11 [11/2021 - 08/2024] , or refer to PROCEDURE - Step 11 [08/2024 - ]

    for HEV Model: Refer to PROCEDURE - Step 11 [05/2022 - 08/2024] , or refer to PROCEDURE - Step 11 [08/2024 - ]

  3. REMOVE FRONT FENDER APRON TRIM PACKING C 

    for Gasoline Model: Refer to PROCEDURE - Step 10 [11/2021 - 08/2024] , or refer to PROCEDURE - Step 10 [08/2024 - ]

    for HEV Model: Refer to PROCEDURE - Step 10 [05/2022 - 08/2024] , or refer to PROCEDURE - Step 10 [08/2024 - ]

  4. REMOVE AIR FUEL RATIO SENSOR

      1. Disconnect the air fuel ratio sensor connector.
      2. Detach the wire harness clamp.
      3. Using SST, remove the air fuel ratio sensor from the converter with catalyst assembly LH.
        • SST: 09224-00012 
  5. REMOVE NO. 2 AIR FUEL RATIO SENSOR

      1. Disconnect the No. 2 air fuel ratio sensor connector.
      2. Detach the 4 wire harness clamps.
      3. Using SST, remove the No. 2 air fuel ratio sensor from the converter with catalyst assembly RH.
        • SST: 09224-00012 
  6. REMOVE NO. 3 AIR FUEL RATIO SENSOR 
    1. for Gasoline Model:

      *A for 2WD *B for 4WD
      1. Disconnect the No. 3 air fuel ratio sensor connector.
      2. Detach the 3 wire harness clamps.
      3. Using SST, remove the No. 3 air fuel ratio sensor from the converter with catalyst assembly LH.

    2. for HEV Model:

      *A for 2WD *B for 4WD
      1. Disconnect the No. 3 air fuel ratio sensor connector.
      2. Detach the 5 wire harness clamps.
      3. Using SST, remove the No. 3 air fuel ratio sensor from the converter with catalyst assembly LH.
        • SST: 09224-00012 
  7. REMOVE NO. 4 AIR FUEL RATIO SENSOR 
    1. for Gasoline Model:

      1. Disconnect the No. 4 air fuel ratio sensor connector.
      2. Detach the 2 wire harness clamps.
      3. Using SST, remove the No. 4 air fuel ratio sensor from the converter with catalyst assembly RH.

    2. for HEV Model:

      1. Disconnect the No. 4 air fuel ratio sensor connector.
      2. Detach the 4 wire harness clamps.
      3. Using SST, remove the No. 4 air fuel ratio sensor from the converter with catalyst assembly RH.
