Intermediate Shaft: Installation
To install intermediate shaft, reverse removal procedure and proceed with the following cautions: Ensure splines of intermediate shaft are completely engaged in upper universal coupling. Make sure steering wheel is in a straight ahead position. Make sure splines on rack pinion are properly engaged. Carefully tighten pinch bolt.
