Front Trunk Removal And Installation/Replacement

Mobile Repair Possible:  Van/Car

Removal Procedure: 

1. Open the hood.
2. Remove front logo bracket. Refer to FRONT LOGO BRACKET REMOVAL AND INSTALLATION/REPLACEMENT
3. Remove frunk emergency switch. Refer to FRUNK EMERGENCY SWITCH REMOVAL AND INSTALLATION/REPLACEMENT

4. Remove the frunk carpet (1).

5. Remove 3 nuts (1).

   Torque: 4 Nm 

6. Remove 2 screws (2)

   Torque: 6 Nm 

7. Remove expanding rivet (3).

8. Remove 6 expanding rivets (3).

9. Remove the front trunk (1).

Replacement Procedure: 

1. Rebuild Hood Frunk Weatherstrip. Refer to HOOD FRUNK WEATHERSTRIP REMOVAL AND INSTALLATION/REPLACEMENT

Installation Procedure: 

1. Installation is the reverse of removal procedure, noting the following

   All fasteners must be tightened to torque specification!
