- Only authorised and appropriately trained persons may carry out work on high-voltage vehicles and components.
- Perform High Voltage isolation procedure prior to commencing work.
- Ensure appropriate Personal Protective Equipment is worn until the system is verified safe.

- All lifting equipment weight rating must meet or exceed the weight of the vehicle and any contents.
- The lifting equipment must be in good condition and approved for use.
- Only lift the vehicle from the identified lift points.
- Ensure vehicle is stable before performing any work underneath.
- Ensure there are no loose components which may fall.
- Always use personal protective equipment (PPE).
- Seek assistance when handling larger components.
Removal Procedure:
- Remove power distribution unit (PDU) cradle. Refer to POWER DISTRIBUTION UNIT (PDU) CRADLE REMOVAL AND INSTALLATION/REPLACEMENT
- Remove eMotor (FWD) mount bracket (left side). Refer to EMOTOR (FWD) MOUNT BRACKET (LEFT SIDE) REMOVAL AND INSTALLATION/REPLACEMENT
- Support the eMotor (FWD) (1) with a transmission jack or hydraulic jack using a rubber pad in the marked area (2) during the entire process.
- Remove 2 bolts (1).
Torque: 8 Nm
- Remove the bracket (2) from the eMotor mount.
- Remove bolt (1).
Torque: 30 Nm
- Remove bolt (2).
Torque: 88 Nm
- Remove 2 bolts (1).
Torque: 70 Nm
- Guide out and remove the eMotor (FWD) mount (2) in arrow direction.
Installation Procedure:
- Installation is the reverse of removal procedure, noting the following.
All fasteners must be tightened to torque specification.
- Install eMotor (FWD) mount bracket (left side). Refer to EMOTOR (FWD) MOUNT BRACKET (LEFT SIDE) REMOVAL AND INSTALLATION/REPLACEMENT
- Install power distribution unit (PDU) cradle. Refer to POWER DISTRIBUTION UNIT (PDU) CRADLE REMOVAL AND INSTALLATION/REPLACEMENT
