Heater Support Bracket Removal And Installation/Replacement

Failure to follow specified procedures may result in death or serious injury from electric shock when working on or near high-voltage components.
  • Only authorized and appropriately trained persons may carry out work on high-voltage vehicles and components.
  • Perform High Voltage isolation procedure prior to commencing work
  • Ensure appropriate Personal Protective Equipment is worn until the system is verified safe

Removal Procedure: 

  1. Remove HV coolant eHeater. Refer to HV COOLANT EHEATER REMOVAL AND INSTALLATION/REPLACEMENT

  2. Remove the 6 bolts.

    Torque: 8 Nm 

  3. Remove the bracket (2).

  4. Unclip the HV battery coolant inlet hose (1) from the heater support bracket.
  5. Remove 3 nuts (2)

    Torque: 8 Nm 

  6. Remove the bolt (3).

    Torque: 8 Nm 

  7. Remove the Heater support brackets.

Installation Procedure: 

  1. Installation is the reverse of removal procedure, noting the following.

    All fasteners must be tightened to torque specification! 

  2. Install HV coolant eHeater. Refer to HV COOLANT EHEATER REMOVAL AND INSTALLATION/REPLACEMENT
