Instrument Panel Lower Trim Panel Removal And Installation/Replacement

Removal Procedure: 

1. Open right door.
2. Remove the instrument panel compartment. Refer to INSTRUMENT PANEL COMPARTMENT REMOVAL AND INSTALLATION/REPLACEMENT 
3. Remove front floor console. Refer to FRONT FLOOR CONSOLE REMOVAL AND INSTALLATION/REPLACEMENT
4. Remove instrument panel trim plate applique. Refer to INSTRUMENT PANEL TRIM PLATE APPLIQUE REMOVAL AND INSTALLATION/REPLACEMENT (PASSENGER) 
5. Remove the instrument panel outer trim cover. Refer to INSTRUMENT PANEL OUTER TRIM COVER REMOVAL AND INSTALLATION/REPLACEMENT

6. Remove 2 screws (1).

   Torque: 2 Nm

7. Unclip the Instrument panel lower trim (1) out of the marked area.

8. Remove the Instrument panel lower trim (1) in the direction of the arrow.

Installation Procedure: 

1. Installation is the reverse of removal procedure, noting the following. All fasteners must be tightened to torque specification! 
2. Install the instrument panel outer trim cover. Refer to INSTRUMENT PANEL OUTER TRIM COVER REMOVAL AND INSTALLATION/REPLACEMENT 
3. Install instrument panel trim plate applique. Refer to INSTRUMENT PANEL TRIM PLATE APPLIQUE REMOVAL AND INSTALLATION/REPLACEMENT (PASSENGER) 
4. Install front floor console. Refer to FRONT FLOOR CONSOLE REMOVAL AND INSTALLATION/REPLACEMENT
5. Install the instrument panel compartment. Refer to INSTRUMENT PANEL COMPARTMENT REMOVAL AND INSTALLATION/REPLACEMENT
