Test Step 2 - Liftgate Release Switch Short

Disconnect the switch bank 2 harness connector.
Erase DTCs.
Turn the ignition OFF, wait 10 seconds, then turn the ignition ON.
With the scan tool, check for DTCs.

Does the scan tool display B18E4 - Power Liftgate Front Zone Switch Circuit High?

Yes

Go to Test Step 3 Test Step 3 - Liftgate Switch Sense Circuit Short to Voltage

No

Replace the switch bank assembly. Refer to POWER LIFTGATE SWITCH, D-PILLAR .
Perform the Body Verification Test. Refer to BODY VERIFICATION TEST .
