Center Support Assembly: Disassembly

1. Remove snap ring from sun gear shaft. Pull center support from shaft. Remove snap ring for No. 1 brake. Remove discs and plates from center support. Note number and position of discs and plates for reassembly reference. Invert center support.
2. Remove snap ring for No. 2 brake. Remove discs and plates from center support. Using compressor, compress No. 2 brake return spring retainer. Remove snap ring. Remove compressor. Lift return springs and retainer from center support. Repeat procedure on No. 1 brake return springs.
3. Using compressed air, force No. 2 and No. 1 brake pistons from center support. Noting direction of rotation, slide one-way clutch hub from sun gear shaft. Remove 3 seal rings from center support hub and 2 seal rings from sun gear shaft. Remove "O" rings.
