Injector Circuits (2.3L)
- Disconnect main relay. Connect an ohmmeter between ECU terminal No. 13 and terminal No. 87/2 of main relay connector. See Figure . Resistance should be 4 ohms.
- If one injector or injector wire is defective, ohmmeter will indicate approximately 5.3 ohms. If 2 injectors or injector wires are defective, ohmmeter will indicate approximately 8 ohms. If 3 injectors or injector wires are defective, ohmmeter will indicate approximately 16 ohms.
- If ohmmeter indicates a problem, disconnect injector connector. Test each injector separately. Resistance should be 16 ohms per injector.
