Injector Circuits (2.8L)
- Connect a jumper wire between BLU/YEL wire and GRN/RED wire of fuel injection relay connector. Connect an ohmmeter between ECU terminal No. 13 and terminal No. 9 of 25-pin connector. Resistance should be 2.6-2.7 ohms.
- If resistance is approximately 3.2 ohms, one injector or injector wire is defective. If ohmmeter indicates 4 ohms, 2 injectors or injector wires are defective.
- If ohmmeter indicates 5.3 ohms, 3 injectors or injector wires are defective. If ohmmeter indicates 8 ohms, 4 injectors or injector wires are defective. If ohmmeter indicates 16 ohms, 5 injectors or injector wires are defective.
- If ohmmeter indicates a defective injector or injectors, remove connector from each injector and test separately. Resistance should be 16 ohms per injector.
