Maximum timing retardation during high load conditions or loss of power and driveability. LED light will flash 4 times.

• Cause: Knock sensor disconnected or improperly tightened. Open circuit in wiring between knock (detonation) sensor and ignition ECU.
• Action: Check knock (detonation) sensor connection. Tighten knock sensor. Check wiring. If wiring is okay, fault is in knock sensor or ignition ECU.
