Control Unit

On 740 and 940 (except 940SE), control unit is located behind panel, left of pedal assembly. On 940SE and 960, control unit is located above pedal assembly, under left side of dash.

Control unit receives signals from sensor and switches. Control unit main functions are to decide if system can be controlled based on values and status of input signals, and to regulate system for optimal function.

Control unit also performs diagnostic functions. This enables the unit to communicate with the technician via the under-hood diagnostic hookup.
