Description & Operation: Transmitter

Transmitter consists of a radio transmitter which sends a coded signal to receiver module. Transmitter will not operate more than about 18 feet from vehicle to ensure receiver module receives transmitter signal.

Transmitter has a LOCK and UNLOCK button. Transmitter prompts receiver to send a control signal to central locking relay to lock car and activate basic alarm when LOCK button is pressed. UNLOCK button prompts receiver to send a control signal to central locking relay to unlock driver's door via a relay and deactivate basic alarm. Pressing UNLOCK button again within 10 seconds unlocks all doors and trunk/tailgate. If no doors or trunk/tailgate are opened within 30 seconds of pressing UNLOCK for first time, doors and trunk/tailgate will be locked and basic alarm activated.
