Condition 

• The fault is permanent.
• The control module is correctly connected.

Possible Source 

• Open-circuit in the cable between fuse 5 in the integrated relay/fusebox and control module connector terminal 5.
• Short-circuit to ground or supply voltage in the cable between fuse 5 and control module connector terminal 5.
• Defective switch.

Fault symptom[s] 

• The vehicle speed does not decrease when SET- is activated.
• The cruise control does not engage.
• The vehicle speed decreases constantly.
