Preliminary Checks
- Warm engine to normal operating temperature. Turn off engine. If turbine shaft does not stop rotating shortly after engine stops, remove intake hose from turbocharger compressor housing.
- Verify that turbocharger compressor wheel rotates freely. Ensure turbocharger compressor wheel does not scrape against turbocharger compressor housing when wheel is pushed radially or axially.
