Self-Diagnostic System: Notes

Models are equipped with self-diagnostic systems. A Malfunction Indicator Light (MIL) will illuminate CHECK ENGINE to signal driver of a system malfunction. Fault codes (DTCs) are retrieved using a scan tool connected to Data Link Connector (DLC).
