Greasing Terminals

NOTE: DO NOT fill protective cover with grease.

Disconnect electrical connector to be greased.
Press Grease (1161417-9) or equivalent, into female sockets directly from tube.
NOTE: Do not use fingers to push grease into connectors. Apply directly from tube.
Check that all terminal cavities are filled.
Use a loose male pin to ensure that socket connections are good. Pin should remain in position when pulled gently.
Assemble electrical connector.
