Checking the wiring

Check the communication cable between transmission control module (TCM) terminal #27 and engine control module (ECM) terminal #27. Check for an open-circuit according to Open-circuit, permanent faults . Check for a short-circuit to ground according to Short-circuit to ground, permanent faults . Check for a short-circuit to supply voltage according to Short-circuit to supply voltage. Permanent faults .

Check the communication cable between transmission control module (TCM) terminal #26 and engine control module (ECM) terminal #57. Check for an open-circuit according to Open-circuit, permanent faults . Check for a short-circuit to ground according to Short-circuit to ground, permanent faults . Check for a short-circuit to supply voltage according to Short-circuit to supply voltage. Permanent faults .

Remedy as necessary.
