Removing the spring strut

Remove 

• the wheel
• the anti-roll bar link from the spring strut. Use a Torx wrench as a counterhold so that the boot is not damaged
• the ABS sensor. Hang up the sensor using a piece of wire
• the ABS line from the spring strut.

Measure the position of the wheel spindle and spring strut. See Wheel knuckle / spring strut, calibrating .

• both screws retaining the spring strut in the wheel spindle.

• the three nuts holding the spring strut mounting in the bodywork
• the spring strut.
