Checking ABS warning lamp

HINT: After carrying out the repair, check that the fault has been remedied as follows:

• Ignition off.
• Disconnect the breakout box if this has not already been done.
• Reinstall the connectors, components etc.
• Ignition on.

  When the ignition is switched on the control module lights the ABS warning lamp which should go out again after 4 seconds.

  HINT: The lamp does not go out if the control module has detected a fault.
