Replacing the Inlet Valve/Overfill Protection: Notes
CAUTION:
When replacing the intake valve/overfill protection the tank must be removed from the car. See Replacing the gas tank . The tank must be placed upright so that the float is not damaged.
CAUTION:
When replacing components on the tank, the gas pipes and the tank must be drained. See DRAINING THE GAS PIPE (CNG; 2005-2006)
or DRAINING THE GAS PIPE (CNG; 2007)

.
The battery negative terminal must be disconnected during all work carried out on gas installations. See Battery, disconnecting .
Do not damage the seals.
