Section 197 (Brake Components - Removal And Installation)

- Brake pads rear, replacing
- Brake pipe from hydraulic unit / front wheel / junction, replacing
- Preparation
- Preparations when replacing brake pipes (applies to all brake pipes)
- Brake pipe left front, replacing
- Brake pipe right front, replacing
- Front-rear brake pipe to the rear junctions, replacing
- Clean around the brake pipe on the ABS hydraulic modulator. Remove the brake pipe from the ABS hydraulic modulator and holder
- Remove the brake pipe from its clips by the side member
- Remove the brake pipe from its clips
- Install the new brake pipe

- Install the integrated relay / fusebox and the connector for the ABS unit
- Brake pipe master cylinder / ABS unit, replacing
- Pedal sensor power brake booster, replacing

- Remove the master cylinder
- Remove the nuts for the power brake booster at the pedal box
- Remove the splash guard under the engine
- Remove the mounting screw for the cable conduit
- Remove the three cross members under the car
- Remove the locking screw and lock from the steering gear
- Cars with passenger compartment heaters
- Preparations for removing sub-frame screws
- Lower the sub-frame
- Lower the car. Remove the power brake booster
- Installation
- Transfer the terminals and seals to the new power brake booster
- Install the power brake booster with the terminals for the check valve
- Tighten the power brake booster
- Install the master cylinder
- Install the connections on the master cylinder
- Lift the sub-frame
- Install the steering components
- Secure the sub-frame
- Install the cross members
