DESCRIPTION
The auto rear defroster program setting in the ICM (Infotainment Control Module) menu may not hold programmed value after the car has gone into sleep mode The root cause is a bug in the CCM (Climate Control Module) software that was introduced during 2007W46 (apx. November 6, 2007)

NOTE:
After the CCM Software download, the default value for Auto defrost in the ICM menu is as follows:
S80 - ON
V70, XC70 - OFF
If "Auto rear defroster" is selected, the rear window electrical defroster will automatically turn on if the ambient temperature is below 48 degrees F when the engine is started.
