Pump
An electrical centrifugal pump increases the pressure of the fluid in the system. The windshield washer fluid presses the pistons out and then flows out through the nozzles and cleans the headlamps.
- The pump is on the windshield washer reservoir at the pumps for the front and rear windshields
- The motor is activated for 1 second for each wash
- Maximum pump pressure = 4 bar
- Output: 180 W.
Washing
Approximately 1 dl of washer fluid is used for each wash.
The capacity of the windshield washer reservoir is 6.5 liters.
