Side Obstacle Detection Control Module Left (SODL) [2017]: Installation

To install, reverse the removal procedure.

The following steps are only necessary when installing a new component.

Order and download the appropriate Volvo software according to: VIDA/Software/Hardware Changes

Calibrate according to: Diagnostics / Components / Side obstacle detection left and right (SODL/SODR) / Diagnostic Sequences / Standard calibration of Side obstacle detection left and right (SODL/SODR)
