Instrument Panel Assembly Replacement

Preliminary Procedures

1. Disable the SIR system.
2. Remove the instrument panel lower extension side trim panel. Refer to Instrument Panel Lower Extension Side Trim Panel Replacement .
3. Remove the instrument panel lower trim panel insulator. Refer to Instrument Panel Lower Trim Panel Insulator Replacement .
4. Remove the radio assembly. Refer to Radio Replacement .
5. Remove the HVAC remote control assembly. Refer to Heater and Air Conditioning Remote Control Replacement .
6. Remove the radio front speaker. Refer to Radio Front Speaker Replacement .
7. Remove the front floor console. Refer to Front Floor Console Replacement .
8. Remove the steering column trim covers. Refer to Steering Column Trim Cover Replacement .
9. Remove the instrument cluster. Refer to Instrument Cluster Replacement .
10. Remove both windshield side garnish moldings. Refer to Windshield Side Garnish Molding Replacement .

Procedures

1. Disconnect the wiring harness from the I/P assembly.
2. With the aid of an assistant, remove the I/P assembly from the vehicle.
3. If replacing the I/P assembly, transfer all necessary components.
