Diagnostic Procedure

  1. Perform POWER SLIDING DOOR SYSTEM CHECK  under SYSTEM TESTS. Go to next step.
  2. Perform PSD reinitialization procedure. See procedures in PSD REINITIALIZATION  under ADJUSTMENTS. Enter Diagnostic Mode 1. Read DTCs. If DTC 14 has reset, go to next step. If DTC 14 has not reset, go to step 4).
  3. Replace PSD actuator motor assembly. After repair, go to step 5).
  4. Problem is intermittent. Check suspected circuits for poor terminal contact, wire chafing and damage to connector bodies.
  5. Turn ignition switch to LOCK position. Reconnect any connectors/components removed. Perform PSD reinitialization procedure. See PSD REINITIALIZATION  under ADJUSTMENTS. If PSD operates normally, system is okay. If PSD does not operate normally, go to POWER SLIDING DOOR SYSTEM CHECK  under SYSTEM TESTS.
