WARNING:
Disconnect the power window switch when working inside the door. When operated, the Express Up/Down Feature allows the door window to move very quickly, without stopping, which could cause personal injury.
Preliminary Procedures
- Remove the front side door window regulator. Refer to Front Side Door Window Regulator Replacement (Driver Side) .
- Remove the front side door window channel retainer. Refer to Front Side Door Window Channel Retainer Replacement .
- Remove the front door weatherstrip. Refer to Front Side Door Window Weatherstrip Replacement .
- Apply a double layer of masking tape around the perimeter of the painted surfaces. Remove the front side door window weatherstrip.

Front Side Door Window Guide Retainer Clip (Qty: 2) Procedure
- Lower the window to align the window guide retainer clips with the access holes in the inner door panel.
- Using the appropriate tool, insert the tool through the inner door access holes and push the window guide retainer clips outward, while pulling up on the window to release the window from the retaining clips.
- Do not operate the regulator motor without supporting the window. Ensure that the window remains in the guide when operating the regulator motor.
- Carefully grasp and tilt the window as you guide the window up and forward.
- Place the window into the door frame, slide the window downward locking the regulator guide retainer clips into the window retaining holes.

Front Side Door Window
Procedure
Program the window motor express function. Refer to Window Motor Programming - Express Function .
NOTE:
Inspect the window for proper operation before installing the door trim.
